Yonderway Farm

I tend to gravitate toward people that are passionate about something. I know I’m not alone in this. Our world is full of half-hearted clutter, so when you come across someone that is living counter-culturally and doing something they believe in, you tend to stop and stare for a bit.

The Kramers are those people for me. They are dear friends of ours, yet also provide our family with pure food that is grown the way it was meant to be grown: cattle that is grass-fed, chickens that are free to roam the range, and pigs that are pastured. Along with a plethora of various animals, they are raising four girls on their beautiful Texas farm. Life is simple and yet wonderfully complex as farming is a family ordeal. The girls spend time tending to the animals and running through the open fields in their spare time…a life to be envied by city folk.

Farming is so much more than a livelihood for them. It is a calling. Anyone that gets the chance to sit down with Farmer Jason and visit while sipping on a favored micro-brew will quickly realize that he is not your typical farmer. He has set out to do something different and to hopefully steer the food system in our country toward a healthier and more sustainable path.

Allow me to introduce you to the Kramer family and their farm.

I encourage you to check out Yonderway Farm online. Follow Jason and his wife Lynsey on Instagram as well for an upclose look on the farm.
