I’ve invited some of my favorite College Station floral vendors to give some incredible insider advice for how couples can really maximize their floral budget and have a stunning floral display to elevate their wedding’s aesthetic.
Owner, Bobbi, creates some of the most stunning wedding floral arrangements! She describes her style as having more of a garden / hand-picked look. She uses her extensive knowledge of unique flowers to create arrangements with deep color palettes and uncommon flowers that you don’t see all of the time.
When needing to work within a tighter budget, Bobbi recommends not putting such heavy focus on the table centerpieces. Instead, allocate more of your budget to strategic focal points at the ceremony and reception, such as the head table, chandeliers, a focal wall, rafters or stairs. She also encourages brides to repurpose as many arrangements as possible from the ceremony to the reception. Bridesmaids bouquets, alter arrangements and aisle entry arrangements can all be utilized in different ways at the reception.

Kim describes her gorgeous aesthetic as being garden / romantic. She enjoys working with couples to bring their vision to life and using the uniqueness of each flower to make their overall vision feel spectacular.
Having three daughters, Kim understands the unique roll of being, what she refers to as, “chief investor” or mother of the bride! She finds that repurposing as many arrangements as possible can really cut down on the overall floral budget. She also points out that the overall size of both the wedding party and the guest list ends up really effecting the amount that brides will spend on additional bouquets and table centerpieces.
When couples are looking to be more budget conscious with their wedding flowers, Kim explains that selecting flowers that are in season can really reduce costs. If you have your heart set on peonies, then May and June are the months for you!
Couples should also take in to consideration that overall costs of flowers tend to go up around Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day because of the huge demand. So, if you’re looking to save a little cash, you may want to steer clear of those peak seasons!
